Keep your advertisement, your process and any other agency running alongside. Nothing pauses.
No placement fee on screening.
Hire anyone from your screening yourself, for this role or any other, and there’s no fee. A fee applies only if you ask us to take the role further as a continuation.
We don’t contact them.
No emails, no calls. As far as your applicants are concerned, nothing has changed.
If you’d rather we ran the rest of it
We can take it from the shortlist.
Interviews, references, the offer and the candidate through to a start date. We call it a continuation: a fixed fee by salary band, from $5,000, with no engagement fee, because your advertising has already run and the field has already been read.
What if nobody’s any good?
Then we say so, and tell you why: the brief, the ad, or where it ran. That’s still the answer you paid for, and the fee stands. Better to know in 48 hours than after six weeks of interviews.
When does the 48 hours start?
From your written confirmation that the last application has been sent. It’s a target, not a guarantee, and it pauses while we wait on answers from you.
Is there a limit on applications?
No. The fee is flat however many there are. If there are many times more than you told us, we agree the position with you in writing before doing more.
What happens to my applicants’ details?
We assess them as your service provider, under the Privacy Act and our privacy policy. We keep a record of each application, and we don’t contact anyone unless you ask us to take the role on.
Can you screen a role you’re already recruiting for us?
No. Screening is for roles you’re running yourself. If a role is already under a Talyn search, the search covers it.
